Engage Palm Springs has posted a wonderful list of resources, including help for pets and animals.
Hotels in the Palm Springs area offering discounted rates to those displaced by the fires; AirBnB is also offering housing. More Information Here
An app called Watch Duty (iPhone) that provides information regarding warning and evacuation areas/routes, shelters for people and animals and updates on fire progression. Also available for Android.
A link for Cal Fire which also has a lot of important information, including the ability to enter your mobile number to receive text alerts.
